Roosters Starlight Background Information:
Roosters Starlight is a gorgeous son of $1 Million NRHA Sire, Gallo Del Cielo. Throughout his show career, Rooster Starlight has been a top performer. With a huge stop, and a fancy, low headed way of moving, and rapid fire turnarounds, this talented stallion has earned over 167 AQHA points. He is also the earner of over $7,600 in NRHA competition with Lance Shockley in the saddle.

In 2002, Roosters Starlight was named the AQHA Reserve High Point Junior Reining Horse. He also finished fourth in the overall AQHA High Point Reining standings that same year.

Roosters Starlight is the result of truly stellar bloodlines. His sire is a top sire in the reining, cutting, and cowhorse events. His dam, Miss Up N Comin, traces back to legendary performance horse sires, Doc Bar and Gay Bar King.

With a limited number of offspring, Roosters Starlight is proving to be a very good sire. Some of his first foals to hit the sales ring brought record bids. One of his colts brought the high selling bid of $40,000 as a yearling in the 2005 RMRHA Select Sale.

Roosters Starlight is subscribed to the NRHA Sire & Dam program, the RMRHA Stallion Stakes, the NRBC, and Stallion Select Futurity, which will hold its first futurity in 2006 at the Affiliate Finals in Denver.
